Mission accomplished! Got the Bronco home and I'm extremely pleased. The up/down switch is mounted on the console, and you have to put your foot on the brake to operate the top. Everything about the hardware speaks "factory convertible". Super smooth and quiet. Very high quality materials. The release levers are huge. The back window fits securely using BOTH strong zippers AND velcro. Took a lot of photos, and I'm including a few below.
The shop was very happy to have a tech flown in, and it took three guys to carefully lower the assembly in place without scratching. I don't see a reason to put the hardtop back on. This is now the truck I dreamed of when I ordered it back in '23.
